About Me 

Hello, my name is Shenika Bigelow. I am 31 years old, born and raised in Fresno CA.  As a child, I didn’t always have a safe place to call home. I have experienced hardships and adversity that have molded me into a strong woman. I started my first business when I was 19 years old, living in a small one-bedroom apartment. I was young and inexperienced in life. It took faith in God, maturing, and perseverance to ensure my business’ success. Now I use my experiences to make me stronger, wiser, and receptive to my community and its youth. My job as a care provider is to establish a secure environment where children can prosper. I have four years of courses in child development. I am CPR and first-aid certified. I have had experiences in peer connectors, working with children with disabilities. I have a certificate as a behavioral technician, working with children with autism spectrum disorder. I have been running a small to (now) large daycare for over 8 years and absolutely love it! I feel that the certifications and training that I have gained over the years have placed me in the perfect position to guide young minds into the future. Additionally, I am the author of “The Lost Baby Bird,” a book that reflects my creativity and passion for storytelling, showcasing another dimension of my journey. I look forward to connecting and offering my service toward the care, well-being, and growth of your children.
