Health & Safety
Health and safety are important at the Eddens Family Daycare. There will be a fire drill every 3 months for practice. All knives, chemicals, and anything harmful will be locked away for safety. There will be supervision when the children are out on the playground, or in the pool, with the parent's permission. The pool will have a cover when not in use. Sign in /out sheets are required every day, along with ID check for friends or family that are picking up your children.
Nutrition
Homemade meals are at the root of the Eddens family daycare's approach to creating a healthy lifestyle. I follow a nutritional program offering healthy, balanced meals and snacks served in the morning and afternoon. I offer a meal or snack at least every 2 hours. Water, milk, or juice is always available to each child and served at every snack, mealtime, and after active play in a safe and sanitary manner. I am always open to accommodate any dietary restrictions that may be presented.
